"If it's not Baroque, don't fix it!"

Next week is Beauty and the Beast week! I'm so very excited about it. even more excited when I know I could dress up as Beast's companions! Mrs. Potts, Lumiere, and Cogsworth! So when I knew I could get Cogsworth costume by digging in the forest town, I immediately took up my shovel and my lucky hat and went digging and digging until, voila! I found it!!!!

I immediately put it on and I felt instantly like Clogsworth. So I whine whine whine and complaint complaint complaint. /gigle Noooo... I love Clogsworth. He's not always a whiner :) In fact, since I love him that much, I turned one of my rooms into a tribute room for him! I took out all of my clocks and put them in one room. Look, I even dragged the Cinderella Clock and the Haunted Grandfather Clock from their usual place and displayed them to pay respect to Cogsworth! My very own house of clock! /gigle I believe Cogsworth would be flattered ^~^

"That hat! I'd better watch my lampshades and bell-cords!"

I’m so excited when I know I could have my very own fruit hat! Ever since I saw Carmen Miranda wearing one, I always wanted to have it. So I went to the clothes store to buy the hat and waited for 3 days for it to evolve. When it did, it turned out to be the one with the pineapple on it, which I absolutely love. So I immediately put it on and started repeating quotes from The Gang’s All Here.

But then I realized I needed something else! Since I was already dressed up in fruits anyway, I thought why not changed the entire room to the same theme! So I put up bright wallpaper and set up furniture that were shaped like fruits. There were sofas and chairs, even the rug looked like a watermelon! I also took out all my fruit plushie and played with them the entire day.

“Sun is shining. Weather is sweet. Make you wanna move your dancing feet.”

Today I met three new friends. They’re not pets but spirits! They're the spirits of summer and each of them was really very pretty, even though they were very different in character to each other. Good Cheer was very cheerful. She’s very lighthearted and she always laughed her contagious laugh. When I was near her I even couldn’t help smiling despite myself.

Mirth was quite mysterious. She’s rather like me, I think. She’s quite an independent spirit and she’s even purple too! Maybe that’s why we got along well very quickly with one another. But Mirth was also quite cheeky sometimes. She liked to play tricks on others. But her trick was never harmful. They’re mostly funny. So even if I was a bit worried that she might trick me without warning, I was quite assured that I might find it amusing and entertaining anyway.

Splendor was the sweetest. She was always very nice to me. She looked like she was very soft in her mannerism but once you get to know her, she could be quite funny. I thought Splendor looked very elegant. She always moved very charmingly. It was as if she was dancing all the time! I tried to copy some of her gestures sometimes. I thought if I could be a little bit more stylish like her, I could be a better actor.

Now the secret was, these new friends of mine could be quite shy. When they were alone, it is difficult to spot them. That was because they stay looking like bushes or shrubs. But when they were together, they changed!!!! They showed their colors and flowers bloomed all around them! I was very happy that they trusted me with that secret. Also because they accompanied me for the rest of my picnic while I sat on the swing in my peachy outfit near the seashore, enjoying the wind and the summer breeze. What a great way to start summer!

"A Whole New World!"

Ohweeeee! I’m so excited that I got to play scenes from Aladdin this week. I can barely tell you how happy I am because Jasmine is actually my favorite Disney princess!!!! So without waiting any longer I turned my rooms into not just one, not just two, but three Aladdin scene!!!!! I first put up the market stage, where Jasmine first met Aladdin when she was under cover, trying to run away from her stifling home.

Then I took out the flying carpet and went to the Cave of Wonders in search of the Genie lamp! I know that in the movie it is supposed to be Aladdin that does that, but it was so much fun flying on that carpet, I couldn’t resist!

Finally, I played out Jasmine’s scene in the castle. She was waiting for Aladdin. Looking a little morose. I’m always very convincing when I had to play sulking scene I think. /giggle

Oh but it’s quite difficult to concentrate for that particular scene actually. The genie is very witty. He keeps saying funny things everytime I was about to look forlorn. I ended up giggling so much I had to practice that scene the entire day!

After I’ve practiced all the scenes, I invited Paragon over. He got to play Aladdin, who is pretending to be Prince Ali. But I think he was a little upset with me because I kept using the magic carpet when he wanted to try. Oh my dear Paragon. You’re too hyperactive, I’m afraid you’d fall if you ride it! 

"This time for Africa."

I LOVE the World Cup. I love football in general but when it comes to world cup, I can be quite religious about it. So when Hideeni is giving out flags of participating countries I was so very thrilled! I started collecting tirelessly and changed one of my rooms into a football field to display them. Unfortunately, I missed out on some. But that was alright, Hideeni still think it’s pretty cool that I tried to collect all the flags, he came over to celebrate with me!  

My favorite team for this year was Holland. Because Kelana is from Holland so I was being supportive to him :) And what a coincidence, the first flag that I got from Hideeni was Holland flag. So, as the World Cup started, I put on my red white and blue outfit, the color of Holland flag and posed with the flag above my head.

Too bad Holland did not win the final, but I was still proud that they made it that far and I was a loyal fan anyway. I was very loyal when it came to watching the game I always wanted to put on orange outfit. But the thing was the only orange outfit that I had was my summer swimsuit. I put it on anyway and waved my pompom to show my support.

Kelana and I played a little football ourselves. I was the referee of course because I’m the more responsible one and he’s the difficult player! So difficult, I had to caution him with a yellow card! But apart from that I had so much fun playing football with Kelana. Almost as fun as watching the game itself!

Meet Zakumi!

Meet my new petling leopard! I call him Zakumi, after the South African 2010 World Cup mascot. Zakumi is an adorable little cub and he likes to follow his big brother lion, Mufasa, around.

He was born with that adorable blue eyes but his fur were more dark brownish. So dark you can’t see his spots at all!

But then I fed Zakumi the light brown biscuit and he immediately changed fur color and become twice more adorable!

Zakumi now roams around in the rain forest room with Mufasa. One day, I might even take him to visit Africa! Or… my room version of Africa ^-^

"Once upon an enchanted evening... fairies made wishes come true..."

Around the town where I live in there are plenty of area where I can dig for treasures. So Kelana, all of my friends and me too go to those places from time to time and do a fun treasure hunt. I usually put on my explorer outfit as I dig, to protect me from the element ^-^

Recently a new place for hunting treasure is discovered. The place is called Enchanted Forest. But the place is across the see so to be able to go there I need to ride on a hot air balloon. I sent requests to my friends to help me build it and after several days collecting materials together my hot air balloon was finally ready!

So I headed to the forest immediately and then dig and dig and dig for treasures. I was very happy because the treasures I got there were faery items. I didn’t get to find all the treasures immediately, especially the pixie mask which was VERY difficult for me to locate. But my dear friend Bebekuek sweetly sent me one and then my collection is finally complete!

I turned one of my rooms into a smaller versions of the forest and then dressed up as Enchanted Faery with pink wings and pink mask to match ^-^
